Yosemite Nature Note 28 – Ski Yosemite
This winter’s snow made it possible to finally finish the latest Yosemite Nature Notes episode! Yosemite has a long tradition of skiing, with remote backcountry ski huts and California’s oldest ski resort. What’s your favorite skiing memory in Yosemite?

Just released: the latest episode of Yosemite Nature Notes. The Yosemite Conservancy and the National Park Service produce the video series, full of insider info on Yosemite topics. This episode is SO NEW, you won’t find it on their websites yet.
Our friend, Josh Helling, worked on this segment and stars in several scenes. Neighbor Theresa Ho, who lives right behind our Yosemite Stay homes, is also featured. The episode, while under 8 minutes long, took nearly three years to produce, due to the low snow pack the last couple of years. Finally producer Steve Baumgardner had the snow he needed to show you the magic of Yosemite’s winters.
Get glimpses of Yosemite places and activities most people have no idea exist. We have received nearly constant snow this week, and as Josh says, right now its “WINTER BLISS” in Yosemite.
